Understanding the Numbers

Cash Game Rake

Every pot played at cash tables has a small rake taken (typically 5% capped). This rake is collected by the Tables Contract and sent to the Rake Manager. After referrer commissions are paid, the remaining rake is split 50/50 between token holders and treasury.

Tournament Rake

Tournament buy-ins include a rake portion. However, tournament rake first covers any GTD (guaranteed prize pool) shortfalls. If a tournament doesn't reach its guarantee, the rake helps cover the difference. Only the net remaining goes to treasury.

Token Holder Rewards

50% of net cash game rake is distributed weekly to PHNM token holders. The more tokens you hold, the larger your share of the weekly distribution. Distributions happen every Monday at 12:15 PM UTC.

Token Price Backing

The other 50% goes to treasury, which backs the token's redemption value. Token price is calculated based on the last 4 weeks of rake performance, giving you a predictable floor value for your tokens.
